1. CRIS Lifeguard

We are currently recruiting for a Lifeguard to work in our Aquatic Center. Your role as a Lifeguard on the poolside will be to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our staff & students.


Once qualified, you will be required to assist in the smooth running of the pool by maintaining a high standard of service to our CRIS community in line with CRIS policies as well as observing and supervising our staff and students to prevent dangerous behavior and ensure pool rules are followed at all times.


You must maintain a positive and professional attitude to exceed our community’s expectations whilst they are using the facility and be responsible for acting immediately and rescuing any swimmer who may be in difficulty or require first aid. In addition, you will be required to complete general cleaning duties around the poolside.


As part of the interview process, candidates are required to complete a swim test with our Head of Physical Education.


Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo training for our schools Child Protection Policy. 



 This is a part time contract available on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week. As our school is open throughout the year, your working hours will include weekends. Usual shifts will fall between 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm Monday - Friday and 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. 


 You must possess excellent communication skills in both Thai and English. Be friendly and approachable as you will provide a supportive role to our community, providing personal attention and care at all times.

Lifeguard Job Description: 

We are looking to recruit an observant lifeguard to ensure the safety of visitors/staff/students to our aquatic facility. The lifeguard will explain safety rules to the staff and students, warn them about unsafe situations, and enforce policies on showers and proper attire. You will play an instrumental role in maintaining orderliness by inspecting swimming pool areas, locker rooms, and restrooms. You will maintain pool equipment, and monitor and record pool temperatures.

To ensure success you need to assess situations swiftly and make judicious decisions regarding the safety of swimmers. Top candidates are excellent communicators, swift, and safety-minded.

Lifeguard Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing activities at an aquatic facility.

  • Assisting with swimming lessons.

  • Explaining and enforcing rules, regulations, and policies to ensure the safety of staff and students.

  • Monitoring designated areas to recognize signs of danger.

  • Warning swimmers regarding unsafe situations.

  • Maintaining order in swimming areas.

  • Responding to emergencies and rescuing swimmers in danger of drowning.

  • Performing first aid procedures.

  • Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of all areas.

  • Maintaining records and reports.

  • Monitor weather and water conditions for signs or danger.

  • Assists where required at swim meets, swim events, house days, etc.


Lifeguard Requirements:

  • 20 years of age or older.

  • Possess lifeguard certification/training or equivalent

  • 1+ months related experience.

  • First Aid and CPR certification.

  • ILTP (or any related certification) preferred.

  • Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written in Thai and English.

  • Proficient in interacting with people of various ages from diverse backgrounds.

  • Available to work shifts.

  • Physically fit, strong, agile, and dexterous.

  • Up to date police check. 

  • Flexible, reliable and enjoy working with children.

  • Be conscientious, efficient, and organized.

  • Work well with colleagues and be a team player.
